Where to Go and How Long It Takes

For most regions of Ukraine, the most convenient route to Budapest is the Hungarian M3 motorway, which starts near the border with Ukraine. You can cross the border at the checkpoints: Chop–Zahony, Luzhanka–Berehshuran. Free Parking

You can park for free 25-40 minutes walk from the terminal.

Insurance

Green Card Insurance

For travel abroad, Green Card insurance is mandatory. Policies are available for a term of 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc., monthly up to 1 year.

A policy with a minimum term of 15 days costs about 25 euros.

Boarding the Plane

The airport is quite large. The security check time is fast, up to 20 minutes, but you can walk to the boarding for quite a long time after the security check. The airport is a base for WizzAir. Boarding for WizzAir flights takes place in a separate building located on the platform. The exit to this building is through the gates on the right side of the terminal. Boarding for flights to aircraft is already done in this building. The walk from the terminal to the building takes 3-5 minutes. Therefore, for boarding WizzAir flights, reserve enough time.
