Toll Roads
Some road sections in Bosnia and Herzegovina require payment. The fee depends on the vehicle category.

There are tolls on five motorway sections: Sarajevo — Zenica, Sarajevo — Tarcin, Međugorje — Ljubuški, Banja Luka — Gradiška, and Banja Luka — Doboj.

Payment of Bosnia and Herzegovina Motorway Tolls
You can pay manually, in cash, or by credit card, or automatically. For automatic payment, an ACC TAG device is required.
If you choose manual payment, drive through the gates marked with the operator's symbol (human), press the button, and take the magnetic card. When exiting, choose gates with the same symbol, approach the payment booth with the operator, return the magnetic card, and pay the toll.
For automatic payment, enter and exit through gates with the ACC symbol. The barrier will automatically lift when the ACC TAG device is detected.

Speed Limits
Standard speed limits in Bosnia and Herzegovina (unless indicated otherwise on signs).

Lights
Low beam headlights are mandatory 24 hours a day, all year round.
During daylight hours (from sunrise to sunset), under normal visibility conditions, you can use daytime running lights instead of low beam headlights.

Petrol Prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Insurance
For traveling abroad, a Green Card insurance policy is mandatory. Policies are valid for 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc. monthly up to 1 year.
We also recommend having a medical insurance policy insurance abroad.
And to drive on the territory of Ukraine, you need to have a valid motor vehicle policy.

Child Transportation
Children up to 2 years old can be transported in a child seat on the front seat, but it must be installed facing the rear of the car, and the front airbag must be deactivated.
Children under 5 years old can only be transported in child seats and only on the rear seats
Children under 12 years old must be transported only on the rear seats with a booster seat, to use standard seat belts
