Payment of Bosnia and Herzegovina Motorway Tolls

You can pay manually, in cash, or by credit card, or automatically. For automatic payment, an ACC TAG device is required.

If you choose manual payment, drive through the gates marked with the operator's symbol (human), press the button, and take the magnetic card. When exiting, choose gates with the same symbol, approach the payment booth with the operator, return the magnetic card, and pay the toll.

For automatic payment, enter and exit through gates with the ACC symbol. The barrier will automatically lift when the ACC TAG device is detected.

Border Crossing Features near Dubrovnik (Croatia)

If you are planning a route from Dubrovnik (Croatia) to, for example, Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) using Google Maps, the route will be suggested through the Orahov Do border crossing point.

If you are traveling at night or lack experience in driving on narrow(!) mountain roads, do not use this route! The road is very narrow with many switchbacks, and overtaking is not always possible. A more reliable route is through the town of Metković or Neum.
