In Poland, tolls are paid based on the distance traveled at specific payment points located on the road (toll booths).
Upon entering the motorway, it is necessary to take a toll ticket. The ticket should be kept throughout the entire journey and will be used to pay for the distance traveled. In the absence of a ticket, the maximum amount is charged depending on the vehicle category.
Toll payment can be made in cash or by credit card. Cash is accepted in PLN, EUR, and USD. When paying in EUR and USD, banknotes up to 100 are accepted. Change is given only in PLN.
