In Ireland, there is a fee for certain sections of roads. There is also a toll to travel through some bridges and tunnels.

M50 Barrier-Free

The M50 motorway runs around Dublin and intersects with the main radial routes M1, M2, N3, N4, N7 and N11. Barrier-Free is between Junction 6 (M50/N3 Blanchardstown) and point 7 (M50/N4 Lucan).
There are no cash payment points on the M50 motorway. Unregistered users must pay the duty by 8 pm the day after the trip.

If you miss the eFlow M50 payment deadline, you will receive a First Penalty Notice (STR). The STR is an invoice from eFlow for the cost of the road toll and a fine of €3.50 for late payment. You have 14 days to pay. If you do not pay within this period, an additional fee of €46.50 will be applied.

How to pay?

1. Visit Park Now on the website and enter the zone you want to pay for. To understand which zone you are in, look at the road signs, they will also indicate local parking restrictions. Zones are indicated by color or letters.
2. Enter your vehicle registration number and mobile phone number on the website. Confirm the vehicle details when prompted.
3. Choose length of stay with optional SMS and email reminders.
4. Make sure you get the payment confirmation on the screen

Insurance

For traveling abroad, a Green Card insurance policy is mandatory. Policies are valid for 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc. monthly up to 1 year.
We also recommend having a medical insurance policy insurance abroad.
And to drive on the territory of Ukraine, you need to have a valid motor vehicle policy.

Mandatory equipment

Equipment that must be in the car:

Emergency stop sign

Winter tires, studded tires, chains

	Winter tires are optional.
	The use of chains is allowed with summer tires only if the road is completely covered with snow or ice.
	The use of studded tires is allowed with a speed limit of 112 km/h on the motorway and 96 km/h on normal roads.

A function indicating the location of fixed speed cameras in the navigation software, based on GPS should be deactivated.
