Aktion - Preveza Tunnel
The Aktion – Preveza underwater road tunnel connects Epirus and the city of Preveza on the north shore with Cape Aktio (Actium) in Aetolia-Acarnania, Central Greece, across the mouth of the Ambracian Gulf in western Greece. Completed in 2002, the tunnel is a crucial part of the infrastructure in an underdeveloped region, significantly reducing the distance between the two sides of the gulf, which was previously only possible by ferry. Rio-Antirio Bridge
The Rio-Antirio Bridge, completed and opened in 2004, provides a connection between Rio (suburb of Patras) and Antirio, linking the Peloponnese with western mainland Greece and beyond to the rest of Europe. Speed Limits
Standard speed limits in Greece (unless otherwise indicated on signs).

Dipped Beam
Dipped beam is mandatory 24 hours a day, all year round.
During daylight hours (from sunrise to sunset) under conditions of normal visibility, daytime running lights can be used instead of dipped beam.

Parking in Athens
In the center of Athens, there is a parking control system. Parking spaces for residents are marked with blue lines, for visitors - white lines, and for special situations and professional needs - yellow lines.
The municipal parking system for short-term visitors operates from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and on Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00. The maximum parking time is 3 hours, and the rate is €0.5 per hour for the first 2 hours. For 2.5 hours - €4, and for 3 hours - €6.
Payment for parking can be made using the myAthensPass app (internet connection is required).
Violation of parking rules - €80, confiscation of the driver's license for 10 days, and technical passport with numbers for 20 days.
Parking in places designated for disabled drivers - €150, confiscation of the driver's license for 10 days, and technical passport with numbers for 10 days.
Parking in Thessaloniki
In the central part of the city, parking is paid. Payment can be made for a period of up to 15 minutes and a maximum of 4 hours.
The price per hour is €1.70.
Payment for parking can be made using the ParkPal app (internet connection is required).
Insurance
For traveling abroad, a Green Card insurance policy is mandatory. Policies are valid for 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc. monthly up to 1 year.
We also recommend having a medical insurance policy insurance abroad.
And to drive on the territory of Ukraine, you need to have a valid motor vehicle policy.
