Road Payment

Belarus has the electronic road payment system BelToll (website: http://beltoll.by/). Payment is made using a special registered device.

Before traveling to Belarus, it is recommended to register on the website https://reg.beltoll.by/Account/Login

Obtaining the On-Board Device

The on-board device must be obtained before entering a toll road. To do this, you need to register in the BelToll system. Registration is possible at customer service points or through the system's website.

Registration in the system is free, but a deposit is required to obtain the on-board device.

The deposit amount is:

  • 20 euros for a vehicle with a permissible total weight of no more than 3.5 tons;
  • 50 euros for a vehicle with a permissible total weight exceeding 3.5 tons.

The deposit for the on-board device will be refunded when returning a functional device to any customer service point.

When obtaining the on-board device under a prepayment agreement, it is necessary to top up the device's balance by at least 25 euros.

Returning the On-Board Device

If you no longer need the on-board device, you can return it to any customer service point, and your deposit will be refunded, except in the following cases:

  • The on-board device is returned blocked;
  • The on-board device is returned after three years from the date of the last operation registered in the BelToll system;
  • The returned on-board device has mechanical damage (including, but not limited to, cracks, markings, painting of electronic payment device, damage to the barcode or identification number of the electronic payment device).

Installing the On-Board Device

The on-board device kit includes a user manual in 4 languages (Russian, Belarusian, English, and Polish) with a step-by-step description of the on-board device installation process in the car.

According to the documentation, the on-board device is attached to the windshield near the rearview mirror (in the center, from above).

We draw the attention of road users with prepayment agreements: after each balance top-up, it is necessary to ensure that the on-board device reflects the correct number of axles of the vehicle (the actual number of axles, including trailers and semi-trailers).
