Free 15 minutes parking in Tallinn

In public paid parking zones in Tallinn, the first 15 minutes of parking are free if the driver, in writing or using parking clocks, records the start time of parking. Parking clocks or a written notice of the start of parking must be visible on the front windshield of the vehicle.

Outside the paid zone, parking is free.

Two-wheeled motor vehicles can park for free in public paid parking zones in the city of Tallinn.

Insurance

For traveling abroad, a Green Card insurance policy is mandatory. Policies are valid for 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc. monthly up to 1 year.
We also recommend having a medical insurance policy insurance abroad.
And to drive on the territory of Ukraine, you need to have a valid motor vehicle policy.

Reflective vest – the reflective vest is not mandatory, but it is prohibited to exit the vehicle at night or in poor visibility conditions without it.

Winter Tires, Studded Tires, Chains

Winter tires are mandatory from December 1 to March 1. The minimum tread depth should be 3 mm.
Use of chains is allowed.
Use of studded tires is allowed from October 15 to March 31 (may be extended depending on weather conditions, from October 1 to April 30).
